This is a full-time, on-site position.
Essential Functions
- Manufacturing automation and process development
- Manufacturing process implementation
- Assist with mechanical product development vis SolidWorks 3D modeling and AutoCAD
- Assist with facility operations, such as running pneumatic lines and setting up equipment
- Change control of 3D models and technical drawings using the CCO system
- Assist with design of R&D and manufacturing fixtures using SolidWorks 3D and AutoCad
- Entry of GMP materials into the ASM database and placement of materials into appropriate areas
- Utilize and maintain 3D printers
- Utilize and maintain UV printers
- Operate Vapor Phase Oven, DEK Printer, Siplace, and ASM equipment
Competencies
- Must be a versatile, self-starter
- Must be detail-oriented
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Problem-solving/Analysis
- Experience with one or more SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or CCO system
- Matlab experience
Required Education and Experience
- BSc. or MSc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Internship or related engineering work experience preferred
- Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Physical Demands
- An ability to lift 50 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Fine motor skills are required.
