Job description

We are looking for a talented manufacturing maintenance mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery. The maintenance mechanic‘s responsibilities include estimating the time and scope of work required to complete machine repairs, completing work in a timely and safe fashion, maintaining material and supply inventory, and ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.

To be successful as a maintenance mechanic you should be able to work effectively within a team and have a strong level of technical skill. An outstanding maintenance mechanic should be able to develop and optimize their work for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot machinery issues
• Repair machinery
• Perform regular machine maintenance as directed
• Estimate time and scope of work
• Complete work in a timely fashion
• Work with a team to make repairs and perform work

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:

• Must be able to read and receive instructions in English.
• Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure in order to meet production requirements.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude and special visualization is needed.
• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
• The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.
