General Information:

Job Title: MIG Welder Fabricator

Employee Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1st Shift 5:00am-3:30pm

Location: 743 Main St. Coopersville, MI 49404

Pay: Up to $24.00/hr. (pay issued based on experience)

Job Tasks for a MIG Welder Fabricator:

· Verify weldments are within specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes

· Move parts into position either manually or with a hoist or crane

· Position, align, fit, and weld parts, following blueprints and layout specifications

· Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, form, punch, and drill components, such as:

o handheld plasma cutters

o grinders

o drill presses

o iron worker

· Lay out and examine weldments to ensure that specifications are met

· Tack-weld fitted parts together

· Position or tighten braces, clamps, or bolt straps, to bolt parts in position for welding

· De-burr, prep, and tag parts and weldments for next process

Job Requirements for a MIG Welder Fabricator:

· 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience required

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Proficient at reading a tape measure

· Previous experience in manufacturing preferred

· Previous experience driving a hilo

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· 18 years or older

· Must have a valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
