Job description
Job Duties:
- Evaluating a patient's functional status
- Establishing treatment goals
- Planning treatment
- Implementing the plan of care through direct treatment
- Coordinating treatment with other health care personnel
- Providing instruction and education to patient, family, and caregivers
- Evaluating need for interdisciplinary referral
- Providing accurate, timely documentation of treatment
Skills required:
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Texas from the board of OT Examiners
- Competent to treat a variety of pediatric conditions
- CPR certified
- Skilled in Microsoft Word
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required
