Job description

We are seeking a Lead Teacher in our one year old room to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children along with a co-teacher. This position would be Monday through Friday 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Present Bible stories from our curriculum
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Candidates should be comfortable working with children ranging from 1-4 years old, but will be with one year olds the majority of the time. If you love little children and want to help them learn and grow, this is a great job for you. We have great families and a wonderful staff to work with. Hourly pay rate is based on education and experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred but not required
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Associates Degree preferred but not required
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
