Microwave Techniques Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine, is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-power microwave components. Our employees create and deliver state-of-the-art products for Scientific, Semiconductor, Plasma, Industrial Heating, High Energy Physics, Broadcast, Radar and Medical applications. For over 40 years, we've supported the microwave industry by pioneering new technology and solutions for our clients across a range of demanding applications.

Microwave Techniques is searching for a Painter in our Gorham, ME location.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately mix paints and evenly spray primer and paint on the components
• Prep industrial microwave components for painting by masking and taping
• Send newly painted components to Quality Assurance for confirmation of meeting quality standards
• Follow military specification painting processes, including paint thicknesses, color, and free of imperfections
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete work per customers' orders
• Properly dispose of hazardous waste by following guidelines and procedures
• Interpret and understand blueprints and work orders to produce quality product
• Responsible to maintain own paint inventory
• Use an alcohol-based solution and paint thinner to clean-up parts after painting
• Brand the components by creating and affixing labels and stencils
• Work in a safe manner following company procedures a
• High attention to detail ensuring a consistent quality product

Experience:

• 1 + years of previous painting experience preferred
• Experience with industrial and or military specifications painting helpful
• Must have a team mindset
• Reliable and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $23.00 per hour
