Summit Assemblers has an Immediate opening for a dependable, motivated in store full or part time in-store merchandise assemblers.

We are looking to hire 1-2 additional technicians as we prepare for the spring and summer season.

We are assembly technicians contracted with the big box stores to build their products in store. Examples of the products we build are: grills, mowers, tillers, bicycles, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, treadmills, and other similar items.

You will need: Transportation, smart phone, cordless drill/driver, driver bits (Phillips, Allen, and Hex bits), socket driver adapter (to put sockets onto your driver), driver bit extender (aids in reaching under long grill shelves), basic socket set/wrenches for nuts/bolts, and a box cutter. Must be at least 18 years old to apply, Ability to pass a background test

Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time by 9am. Saturdays are sometimes available as well. We work year-round.

Pay: This is a 1099 sub contractor position, Pay is commission based on piece-rates and production. As you get more efficient with assembling similar products your speed will increase, and your pay with it. Average pay for techs range from part time $300 - $500 or full time $500-$1000 a week, depending on how quickly you learn and your speed to build the product.

Pay schedule: Weekly pay. However it will take 2 weeks for first check, then payday every Friday.
