We provide 8 weeks of PAID Phlebotomy Training!!
What you can expect in this position:
We like to think of our phlebotomists as the friendliest vampires you’ll ever meet. We train all of our phlebotomists in the techniques that will help them advance their careers in health care, while working with a compassionate and mission-driven group of professionals. To get you started on your journey with us, we begin with an full time
eight-week paid training program. This includes a total of four weeks classroom training (held in Aurora, IL) and mentorship with an established phlebotomist.
What you will do:
- Perform accurate medical interviewing
- Determine donor eligibility
- Perform venipunctures/draw blood
- Ensure donor and recipient safety
***All new employees must obtain primary Covid-19 vaccination (single dose Johnson & Johnson or 2 dosages of Pfizer/Moderna/Novavax) prior to start date. ***

What you will need for this position:
High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be willing to submit to a Drug Screen, Background Check, Driving Record Check.

When will you work?
- Full time position working 36-40 hours per week, working 5 days a week including some weekends.
- Some travel to multiple locations required
- Good News! You receive your schedule 3 weeks in advance so you know well ahead of time what days and hours you are working!
