We're looking to hire a Police Officer with a strong focus on community work, law enforcement and education. The right candidate will be equipped with a background in community policing, a solid educational history and an ability to effectively communicate with people. As a police officer, you'll be the face of our agency and will help us maintain an active role in the larger community. Your primary duty will be to uphold the law through the enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, while also working to maintain good public relations.
Responsibilities:
- Adapt to changing situations and make quick good decisions.
- Utilize specialized equipment properly.
- Be able to use physical force, including deadly force, when appropriate.
- Have knowledge of the law and be able to interpret it to resolve disputes.
- Help maintain order and protect lives and property as part of a team.
- Provide safety and security for citizens at all times.
- Be aware of the cultural diversity in the community and be respectful toward people from different backgrounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.86 - $32.46 per hour
