Job Title: Product Manager - Remote

Location: Work From Anywhere in the U.S.
About The Role:
As a Product Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to build and launch new product features that impact the organization, our customers, and candidates. You will lead and drive strategic initiatives that help Sterling become the world’s best screening and identity services platform. You will use data, market research, strategy and customer outreach to guide us to one common goal: make Sterling an amazing product for our customers and candidates and provide an innovated and simplified experience that protects our key purpose – people.
This Is What You'll Do:

Work closely with product development, product marketing, customer success, operations, analysts and partners / customers to deeply understand customer needs

Document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications

Lead test and optimization efforts to improve conversion and revenue growth. Identify customer types and ways to acquire and delight more of them

Collaborate with technology, engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking progress of inflight projects.

Acquire, review and interpret large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data to uncover new product insights

Advise and guide leadership on opportunities and how to win and align with the strategy and roadmap of company goals

Conduct training and outreach to internal support teams as well as external customers
This Is What We're Looking For:

3+ years in product management or program management and a Bachelor’s degree

Passionate and empathetic about solving customer problems

Experienced at designing product solutions with a team

Demonstrated track record of partnering with engineers to scope projects, overcome obstacles, and ship products that matter

Proven the ability to lead and coordinate teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment

Address bottlenecks, provide customer input, anticipate and make trade-offs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

Excellent formal and informal written and verbal communication skills
-
Deep curiosity about data and skill gathering, analyzing and applying data to inform decisions; and willingness to move ahead when data is not available

High energy and possesses the passion to make things better no matter what
The pay range for this position is $72,000-$125,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive bonus plan. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
