We are currently looking for someone to fill the Production Operator role for International Food Products Corporation at our Prairie Street plant. This person will be responsible for operating all plant equipment related to processing finished products, scaling, and loading/unloading all trucks/rail cars efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

· Communicate any quality, maintenance, or safety issues with management and maintenance

· Operate all plant equipment within established procedures

· Follow all plant safety procedures to protect employees and company assets.

· Follow all quality assurance requirements as outlined in the QC manual to protect product quality, integrity, and food safety.

· Complete necessary records for batch control and cleaning

· Complete and record all records in regards to testing and retaining samples, loading and unloading of trucks and rail cars

· Follow established plant housekeeping requirements.

· Contribute to team environment by sharing ideas for continuous improvement

· Assist with any and all other duties that may be asked.

· Cross train and support daily manufacturing needs

· General sanitation plant wide

· Actively participating in audits and inspections

· Actively participate in audits and inspections

Requirements:

· Facility specific CCP Training (Annually)

· Human Food Training Requirements

o See required training found on Worksheet 08.02.01 Training Register for Human Food Facility Management

· Excellent communication skills

· Time management and organizational skills

· Basic math skills

· Basic understanding of mechanical processes

Physical Requirements:

  • Climb/Work at Heights -Frequently
  • Reach above Shoulder level -Frequently
  • Push/Pull -Frequently
