JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of production through the plant and operation of the production shift, ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of resources including material and workforce, to meet production and customer requirements in accordance with applicable policies and in the most economical and safe manner suitable to the operation.

Your Profile

- Minimum High School is required

- 3 to 5 years experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment

- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings/documents

- Experience working with steel, wood, corrugate, foam, and/or other traded material considered an asset

- Leadership experience is preferred

- Experience employing and enforcing the Occupational Health and Safety Act

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment

- Availability to work overtime or on weekends when it’s required

- Attention to detail

- Solution-oriented

- Creative/Innovative

- Ability to effectively manage employee performance

- Ability to train others on existing or new concepts
