Production Supervisor

SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the department and assess functions to ensure the production of company products are at the highest quality and lowest cost possible. This role ensures that all production departments are operated in a manner consistent with company safety initiatives and within all OSHA guidelines. Production Supervisors guide and coach employees while monitoring their productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for directing, training, assigning, and developing staff members to ensure production goals are met.
• Ensure and enforce safety.
• Direct staff members comply with company health and safety procedures and dress policy.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Ensure the production process flow efficiently.
• Will review, prepare, and schedule works for the day.
• Ensuring all finished product meets customer specifications.
• Implementation of Lean initiatives.
• Scheduling PM’s during non-operational hours.
• Attend Steves and Sons Leadership Training.
• Ensure weekly Safety training is completed for assigned personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be familiar with basic math and measuring tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
