Description

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Program Analyst to join the team out of Warren, MI.The Project Analyst will Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project team and program management.

This role has remote capabilities.

  • Assists with day-to-day operations of a project team on assigned tasks.
  • Self-starter who works well individually and collectively in leading a team to achieve project operational objectives.
  • Assists with overseeing and management of the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between program management and project team to ensure successful execution.
  • Assists with the development of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in MS Project for project planning and execution monitoring.
  • Assist with developing purchase trackers, spend plans, and analyze financial documents to ensure that project are financially on track.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Prepares and communicates project status to program management team through progress reports and with results that include analyzed data and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Applies project monitoring mechanisms to assess performance for communication to program managers and clients as appropriate.
  • Monitors staffing, budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned project.
  • Organizes and manages meetings related to project tasking.
  • Ability to learn technical aspects of task for assessing project risk and directing project team in avoidance and mitigation of risks.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Project Management experience in team leadership, project schedules, budgets and planning
  • Experience in preparing accounting records, financial statement,
  • Experience working in SharePoint data environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Desired experience with projects related to integration and testing of ground vehicle technologies

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
