SUMMARY

This position is remote, and the schedule will be flexible as long as all deliverables are executed by prescribed deadlines
This position is fulltime/part-time flexible
The Concourse Group, LLC is a government contractor that provides financial and real estate consulting to our clients. We pride ourselves on offering a high level of quality both during the entire life cycle of a contract, which starts with the proposal responses. As we continue to expand our areas of expertise and services, we are looking for a graphic designer to join our proposal response team. The proposal graphic designer will be an integral member of our team and will be someone who is highly detail oriented, collaborative and who strives for excellence. They will be able to meet aggressive proposal deadlines, adhere to strict criteria outlined in the solicitations and actively problem solve with a creative mind.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2 or more years working on bid and proposal work in a creative design capacity
- Proficient with MS Word document formatting such as creating document and proposal templates
- Proficient with MS Word creative components such as designing charts, graphics, tables and formatting pictures
- Proficient in using other Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) and related Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)
- Proficiency with Adobe Desktop Publishing, Illustrator and other Abode Creative applications is a plus
- Proficiency with CANVA or other types of creative software applications
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be highly skilled at MS Word
- High level of both written and oral communication skills
- Must exhibit strong analytical/critical thinking skills
- Solve problems using a detailed and well-ordered approach
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and criteria for proposals
- Must be attentive to detail, maintain standards and actively check for quality before conveying final work product
- Ability to work quick and manage aggressive deadlines
- Ability to analyze brand guidelines and take actionable steps to execute a vision
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Position requires a self-starter, focused on a relentless pursuit of quality with an innate understanding of proportion and scale, a problem solver, and an effective communicator with senior leadership and team peers alike
- Conceptualize, design, and develop high-quality materials that align with marketing and business development priorities while meeting tight and competing deadlines; products include presentations, proposals, and other business development and marketing deliverables
- Demonstrate strong layout design skills. Outputs should synthesize complex ideas in a straightforward and concise manner that is also attractive visually
- Communicate effectively with the proposal team and senior leadership to ensure that are proposal response criteria are being met to the highest quality and adherence to company standards
- Coordinate with marketing and business development team to prepare proposals including formatting, layout, technical writing, content development, and proofreading
- Participate in other marketing and branding initiatives such as white papers, client deliverables, cover designs and establishing and maintaining consistency in company branding
