Job description

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) position with Ocean Behavioral Healthcare LLC.

We are a Mental Health practice looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. There would be the option to work within the office and remotely via telehealth.

Perform psychiatric assessment/diagnostics, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, medication management and evidence-based interventions. Develop individualized medication / treatment goals and recommendations based on patient’s social, emotional, and psychological needs. Maintain working relationship and open communication with therapist and direct care team.

Document care provided; meeting standards for physician collaboration review. Completion of progress notes after clinical contact. Utilizing Theranest (EMR). Maintain confidentiality and upholds highest level of professionalism. Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.

PMHNP, must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing with current state license in state employed, if applicable.

DEA license in the state of practice
