Our team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who can quickly understand the products being built for the company. This position requires you to collaborate with various people across the organization, although primarily you will be working with the engineering and product teams.You will be testing the site manually, creating test cases and then automating them with tools and frameworks needed to effectively test our systems. With our team, you’ll get the opportunity to own & drive major initiatives across multiple products and orgs. We believe in teamwork and in delivering rock solid, customer focused solutions.

As our QA Engineer, you will:

  • Analyze, report, and document issues found applying QA best practices
  • Understand the development process and coordinate work with your team accordingly
  • Create comprehensive test plans and execute them
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to automate the high cost test plans to improve the overall team throughput
  • Execute various phases of functional and nonfunctional testing to certify the quality of new software releases
  • Conduct cross-browser testing to check the compatibility of applications across various browsers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or alternative related field (or commensurate work experience)
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in QA
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and bug life cycle
  • Experience with JIRA, TestRail and Confluence
  • Experience with Open source Databases like MySql, PostgreSQL
  • Experience with API/backend services testing tools like Postman
  • Knowledge of bug triaging, Agile methodologies, SCRUM practices and QA effort
  • Understanding of testing techniques (e.g. performance, automated), their strengths and weakness
  • Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expertize in cross-browser/environment testing
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
