Quick Fitting designs and delivers Quick Connection Technology. Our proven, reliable, and innovative pipe, wire, and conduit fittings and valves help professional contractors and DIYers by simplifying installations and repairs and making them faster and less expensive to complete. Applications for the company’s pioneering solutions exist in industrial, commercial, marine, agricultural, RV and mobile home, and residential settings. Quick Fitting’s precise engineering, rigorous testing and validation, robust manufacturing and stringent quality standards bring integrity to every Quick Fitting connection, including our relationships with customers, employees, vendors, investors, competitors, and the community at large. We are seeking to further grow this business by adding a Quality Technician to our team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties satisfactorily.
- Responsible for collecting, quarantining and solve nonconforming material issues in an organized manner.
- Investigate production nonconformances to identify root cause and establish corrective actions.
- Keep detailed and organized records of nonconformances, root causes and dispositions.
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Promote and execute Quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports, including internal Corrective Action Record.
- Establish specific testing procedures based on detailed drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate incoming inspection priorities and Lab testing.
- Manage the NCR, PPAP and MRB database.
- Proficient in the company Quality System Manual.
- Promptly report risks and opportunities for improvement to internal process.
- Develop and document test protocols for all products.
- Collaborate with the supplier quality engineer and Laboratory manager to develop inspection methods, implement, and document them accordingly.
- Develop and document Quality Management Systems process.
- FAIR and PPAP results tracking and follow up.
- Prepare new product documentation according test results, test protocols and freeze drawings.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

- Must have basic math and writing skills, ability to communicate technical information through written form and supporting data.
- Must have the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of technical information.
- Must have technical problem-solving skills – ability to break down large problems into smaller parts to deliver the end solutions.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The specific physical demands required to accomplish the essential duties of this job successfully include:
- No travel required.
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
