AS A QUALITY MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Lead activities to ensure the Olive Branch Distribution Center achieves ISO certification within 12 months
  • Develop and maintain all work instructions and procedures for the Olive Branch Distribution Center
  • Develop and improve a quality program to ensure process compliance across the Olive Branch Distribution Center
  • Lead the training program for the Olive Branch Distribution Center
  • Manage the customer returns process and ensure timely turnaround of replacement orders and factory returns
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints, identify root causes for errors, and drive permanent corrective action
  • Drive supplier quality improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve production, productivity, and quality by preparing and completing action plans
  • Track and maintain company metrics to identify areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of process changes
  • Ensure all products adhere to quality standards
  • Manage a team of quality leads, auditors, and material handlers

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You ask the right questions to accurately analyze and uncover root causes of complex problems
  • You use your sound thinking to explain root causes to others and convince them to take action
  • You seek ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete re-engineering
  • You dig for root causes of a problem and look for patterns. You try different solutions and learn from the results
  • You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or a closely related discipline
  • 3 years’ experience working in a quality, production, or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Robust abilities in identifying, assessing, and solving complex problems
  • Ability to positively influence others
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Knowledge and/or working experience with electrical industry, products, certifications etc.
  • Previous work experience in a technical role related to process, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other Continuous Improvement Process training and/or certification
  • Knowledge of Spanish is preferred.

A background check and drug screen will be required for employment.
