Registered Nurses: Part-time and full time; immediate openings, 1st and 2nd shifts, weekdays and weekends.

Baldpate is a private JCAHO accredited substance abuse treatment center in Georgetown MA. Since 1938, we have been treating individuals suffering from alcoholism and/or all forms of opiate addiction. This position is in the main building, a historic comfortable and beautiful Inn, surrounded by 86 acres of peaceful hills and valleys. At the Inn building, we have a maximum of 16 patients. We are seeking individuals who are tired of a fast paced workplace who would prefer a less stressful environment. Patients are referred to as guests, and are treated in kind. If you are a retired nurse and would like to return to the workplace on either a part-time or per-diem basis, or are looking to supplement your current employment, this may be a position worthy of your consideration. Compensation is commensurate with experience and education.
All applicants must have current RN Licensure in Massachusetts, CPR registration and a minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral health and substance abuse treatment facility.

Computer literacy, excellent writing skills and the ability to interact in a congenial and compassionate manner with colleagues and residents is mandatory.

All nurses participate in treatment plans, administer medications and monitor effectiveness. Supervisory skills, common sense and a compassionate spirit are essential personality characteristics.
