Residential Fiber Broadband Technician

Anthem Broadband of Nevada is seeking new fiber broadband technicians/installers to join our team for the Elko and SpringCreek areas.

Duties include:

• Installing and configuring fiber Internet systems at residential and business locations
• Troubleshooting and repairing service problems in the field
• Assisting customers with internal network equipment, routers, computers, VoIP telephones, and other Internet ready devices

Qualified candidates will:

• Be able to do physically demanding work and be comfortable with heights
• The job requires use of hand tools and occasionally digging tools.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• A clean driving record.
• No criminal history.
• A great personality and professional appearance.
• Good communication skills.
• You will be working with customers at their homes.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Additional Information:

• We provide all the training and certifications you need to be successful.
• Continual training provided both on the job and in house.
• Experience in Fiber, internet or Cable TV installation is a preferred but not required.
• Basic construction experience is also desired but not required.
• We provide a take home vehicle, primary tools, laptop, phone, daily uniform, etc.
• This is an employed position, not contract work
• This is a full time position with some overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
