Residential Landscape Coordinator - Mon to Fri 8a-5p - Brighton/Okeechobee
Job description
Position Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating and leading a crew that performs a variety of tasks involving horticulture skills such as pruning and planting; grounds maintenance activities such as weeding; and landscape equipment operation (blowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, mowers and edgers) in order to maintain grounds and landscaped areas across the Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations. The individual assists in the supervision and monitoring of field crew as well as vendors and contractors; plans, coordinates and supervises landscaping projects; coordinates necessary maintenance and repairs and conducts and maintains inventory of supplies, materials and equipment.
Qualifications / Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Completion of college-level coursework in horticulture, pest control or other landscape maintenance subjects and/or training in landscape management is required. A Minimum two (2) years of experience in grounds maintenance work, including experience in a lead capacity or any combination of relevant training and experience may be consider. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft office software. Ability to travel to all Seminole Reservations and work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings and holidays.

- This position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. It is based at the Brighton Reservation located at 17201 Civic St NE, Okeechobee, FL 34974. This is not in the main city of Okeechobee, rather closer to the Lakeport/Moore Haven area. There may be occasional day travel to our other Reservations in South Florida.
