Roofing Superintendent

Tower Roofing is a specialized commercial, industrial, and residential roofing contractor based in Marietta, GA. We are a leader in the Georgia roofing market since 1985 which means we provide our customers with the stability, strength, and quality. Tower Roofing is dedicated to working with customers to implement a solution that meets their needs, from roof system installation to roof repair.

We are currently looking for a Full Time Superintendent to join our team. This position requires a person with proactive problem-solving, decision-making skills, and the initiative to work independently in a detail-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating daily production priorities
• Hiring and managing roofing, sheet metal, and carpentry crews.
• Working closely with an estimator to schedule job and materials
• Keeping up to date with OSHA regulations and ensuring that crews and jobs are compliant
• Inspecting jobs on an ongoing basis and well as perform the final inspection.
• Performing small repairs as necessary, helping diagnose roofing issues and gathering data
• Working with insurance companies concerning claims
• Monitoring deviations from the standard work and assist in solving problems
• Reporting to President daily to discuss project progress and upcoming needs
• Visiting projects as directed and working with the crew while onsite
• Ensuring safety, quality and goals are met every day for the jobs that they visit
• Attending job site meetings

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Superintendent – Hiring, managing, and scheduling crews.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Commercial, single-ply TPO, PVC, EPDM, and roof coating systems.
• Planning, Budgeting, and Overseeing all aspects of projects based on the Client's

Scope of Work

Qualifications:

• Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills.
• High Attention to Detail
• Requires a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Candidates should be able to provide their own truck with ladder rack, white contractor style is preferable
• 100% travel working at different job sites
• Will be performing roofing/construction related duties such as carrying large ladders

(up to 40 ft. extension ladder) and roofing/construction materials.

Compensation:

• Salary is Negotiable based on experience.
• Simple IRA retirement plan with a 3% match.
• Two bonuses a year, based on company performance and your contribution.
