Sunrise Food Trading INC is a leading importer and distributor of frozen seafood and vegetables on the East Coast. We serve hundreds of restaurant distributors and wholesalers, providing them with both value and premium frozen foods to drive growth. Our products are utilized by Asian buffets, grocery stores, and numerous restaurants across the country. We are looking for a Chinese-speaking sales associate to help us grow into untapped markets and territories.

You will initially be given a list of existing customers to follow and maintain relationships with. After this initial training period, you will be expected to develop and maintain new wholesale customer accounts. Other duties will include creating email marketing campaigns, maintaining good relationships with existing customers, cross selling, and keeping up to date with the latest market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new customer relationships with wholesalers, restaurant distributors, and bulk purchasers on the East and West coasts.
• Provide excellent customer service: respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Act as a first-line representative to customers during initial contact and qualify customer needs
• Familiarize and understand our company's products, policies, and the competitive market
• Provide market research on competitors and industry activities to keep informed of new products/ services that may interest customers
• Maintain a clear line of communication with managers and co-workers regarding market movement

Qualifications:

• High School education or GED
• Excellent communication skills, both with customers and with the team
• Computer literacy: including Microsoft Excel, Word, and some QuickBooks accounting software
• Chinese (Mandarin) and English required
• Sales experience preferred, but not necessary
