Job description
Purpose:
At Higher Education Skincare, all of our products are clean, safe, and healthy, and formulated specifically for the needs of younger skin. Every product is; sulfate free, paraben free, gluten free, nut free, vegan, cruelty free, dermatologist tested, and made in the USA. The purpose of the Sales and Training Specialist is to ensure that sales targets are met via in-store sales support, education, and event execution.
Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years selling skincare in a retail environment
Experience working with Von Maur preferred
Excellent selling skills
Engaging Personality
Organizational Skills
Strong knowledge of the skincare/beauty industry
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

SALES:
- Achievement of daily sales goal in assigned door
- Engage store associates in selling
- Enhance client brand experience through demonstration
- Develop and maintain personal customer relationships
- Execute multiple item sales per customer
- Ensure customer product satisfaction through credible selling
COMMUNICATION:
- Create Brand Awareness in store
- Create relationships with sales associates and department managers in store
- Communicate sales, education, and event opportunities
- Daily recap sent to supervisor detailing activities, opportunities, successes and challenges
- Communicate space & location opportunities
IN-STORE EVENTS:
- Support retailer promotional calendar
- Support HES promotional calendar
- Execute event set-up & takedown
- Event recap sent to supervisor
EDUCATION:
- Motivate and influence store associates to recommend and sell HES
- Train store associates on new product launches
- Train new store associates on the brand points of difference and products
- Continually provide product knowledge training to sales associates
- Check for information retention
OPERATIONS
- Take monthly inventory and communicate needs to supervisor (stock, samples, & testers)
- Communicate collateral needs to supervisor
- Merchandize, clean/dust, and organize HES fixtures during each visit
- Take a picture of our space & location and send with Daily recap
- Touch base with department leadership at the beginning and end of each shift
- Strictly follow all safety and hygiene protocols before, during, and after performed services
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
