ACUTE CARE, INC. (“ACI”) was founded in 1989 by Dr. Mark Menadue and maintains offices in Ankeny, Iowa. ACI provides physician staffing services for over 100 hospitals and clinics nationwide. ACI offers a full service staffing solution to its clients, which include: recruitment, credentialing, physician verification, and staffing/placement.
Our Need…
ACI is in need of a full-time Physician Scheduler to join one of our regional teams to perform the scheduling duties within their assigned region.
Key Duties
- Responsible for arranging coverage for all open shifts in assigned region. This involves scheduling approximately 100 physicians between 9-15 facilities.
- Responsible for keeping organized and detailed records of all conversations with physicians and hospital personnel.
- Ensure all contracted hours are staffed by physician(s) or mid-level provider(s).
What it takes…
This is a very time-consuming and demanding position. A Physician Scheduler is often required to work additional hours and it is often necessary to make calls from home after hours; therefore, this position requires dedication, the ability to deal with stress and work well under pressure. Organization, follow-up, and attention to detail are necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
