School District Clerk
Performance Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the President of the Board of Education, the District Clerk is responsible for all correspondence, meeting agendas, public notifications and any other duties that may be requested by the Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools and/or his/her designee.
- Maintain an accurate record of the proceedings of the Board of Education and submit a copy of the proceedings to each Board Member and the Superintendent of Schools.
- File correspondence and maintain records relating to matters of the District involving the Board.
- Prepare and arrange publication of legal notices as it pertains to budget votes.
- Attend all public (evening) meetings and public hearings of the Board (usually twice a month).
- Perform duties pertaining to the preparation of the Library and School Board Elections and vote.
- Administer the Oath of Office to Board members and the School District Officers.
- Post Minutes of the Board of Education Meetings, Agendas and Policies on the District Website.
- Maintain and update all Board of Education Policies and post on District website and distribute as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Board of Education.
- Record Access Officer-record requests, FOILS, and receive & process subpoenas.
- Prepare agendas for Public and Work sessions.
- Maintain Board calendar, arrange conferences, including transportation and accommodations.

Pay: From $79,000.00 per year
