Job Summary:
The Senior Clinical Engineer functions as the technology manager for medical equipment systems. The responsibilities include medical device integration, medical device cybersecurity initiatives, project implementation, technology procurement, assessment of medical equipment, installation planning, technical evaluations, service contract management and incident investigations. Additional responsibilities may include financial or budgetary management. The Senior Clinical Engineer also supports Manager in pre-purchase evaluations; serves on department units for overall effectiveness; assists the Manager in setting departmental policy and goals; and works independently with consultative direction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Biomedical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline and three years experience in clinical engineering or related field plus proficiency in working with complex electronic or electromechanical patient care devices required.



Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree, CCE certification from American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE) or CHTM certification from Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)
