• Actively contribute to the GRS (Global Risk Solutions) strategic dialogue, including the development of the long-term business strategy.
• Support the alignment of business segment strategies with the overall GRS vision and strategy by partnering closely with business unit Strategy Leaders.
• Work closely with GRS Chief Strategy Officer, Strategy Leaders, Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial, and GRS leadership team throughout the strategic planning process.
• Collaborate with business unit Strategy Leaders and Strategic Program Management team to help identify business issues that drive additional strategic initiatives and proactive analyses.
• Support GRS strategic initiatives, ensuring quality of work and proper communication among key stakeholders.
• Actively monitor and analyze market trends and the competitive landscape and share insights with the Innovation & Insights team and the broader department.
• Produce and lead executive-level communication pieces, both internal and external.
• Prepare presentations for the board of directors and other internal and external constituents.
• Aid and support GRS Strategy & Planning staff members in their professional development.

• 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Commercial insurance experience preferred but not required as long your background demonstrates strong experience in business strategy (identifying business issues and driving strategic initiatives).
• Must be a self-starter working effectively with limited guidance, comfortable figuring out where to find answers to questions, and proactive in building relationships within a matrixed organization.
• Outstanding communication skills, including networking, building relationships, presenting with confidence to senior leadership, producing internal & external communications, and collaborating effectively.
• Must be structured and organized, logical in your approach to problem solving and recommending/implementing solutions.
