Hoover Automotive Group is growing and looking for an Auto Technician to join our Summerville location. Our Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to follow instructions well and take pride in being punctual.

**Prior Automotive Technician/ Mechanic Experience Required**

Automotive Technician/ Mechanic Benefits:

Automotive Technician/ Mechanic Qualifications:

• Prior Auto Technician/ Mechanic Experience Required
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Must have own tools

Automotive Technician/ Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment
• Perform diagnostic analysis
• Perform periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment in an assigned territory
• Modify and update equipment when required
• Prepare detailed service and failure records and recommend changes to customer on a regular basis
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner
• Ability to accurately perceive information from others and assure appropriate flow of said information in a clear, concise and accurate manner
• Coordinate and keep up to date on new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
