Inspirato is a global travel club focused on bringing a consistent, luxury-oriented experience to its affluent club members. The Service Technician will work closely with local customer service managers and report to an asset manager based in the Denver corporate office. The property manager will be based on property and will be responsible for proactively identifying and correcting any maintenance issues, including issues with appliances, drywall/paint, flooring, light plumbing, light electrical, HVAC, pool heaters, and more. You will work with the local customer service team to correct maintenance issues that may arise during a guest's stay, and coordinate other vendors such as landscapers, appliance repair companies, plumbers, etc. to work on the property as needed. This is primarily a maintenance position, but a high degree of customer service, organization, communication, and general business skills are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance around 7-10 luxury homes including patching and painting drywall, minor plumbing and electrical, troubleshooting HVAC, diagnosing appliance issues, and other tasks as needed
- Be the primary point of contact on-site for the service team when maintenance/property management expertise is required; when a maintenance issue arises, be the first to respond and diagnose
- Communicate with and support service team members on property and assist with overall service delivery
- Install and troubleshoot network and A/V equipment (Network access points, modems and routers, Sonos, TVs, etc.)
- Recommend and procure building materials and system parts
- Complete member pre-arrival and departure system inspections
- Perform and schedule preventive maintenance to ensure a high standard of residence function and appearance
- Plan and implement various special project initiatives delegated by Asset Manager
- Build 3rd party vendor lists and manage vendor activities and service level agreements. Oversee and coordinate projects in destination by evaluating 3rd party vendors for quality, pricing, and delivery timeliness. Ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality work and services on schedule
- Liaise with Asset Manager, Regional Destination Manager, and Destination Service Manager on property management projects (including deep cleans and maintenance blocks) to establish suitable timelines and reservation blocks
- Schedule and follow through on all property management needs
- Assist with any new property on-boarding and manage transition of properties to effective in-service status, including participating in new home installations, setting up utilities, gathering relevant property and asset information, scheduling inspections, and managing other pertinent vendors
- Manage other projects and responsibilities as necessary or requested in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Other property management and maintenance needs as requested
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
- Adhere to property budget (landscaping, pool maintenance, utilities)
- Proactively identify areas for cost savings or general improvement
- Other financial projects as needed
- Monthly credit card reconciliation
- Timely submission of expense reports
REQUIRED SKILLS: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

- Software Expertise - Proven expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project, CMMS, CAD a plus. Must be open to new software training and software initiatives
- Communication Skills - Must be able to communicate effectively and in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing
- Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with high growth work environment
- Problem Solver – Strong problem solver who gathers and analyzes information skillfully and efficiently; works well in group problem solving situations
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- In-depth and working knowledge of residential systems and standards of care, including building systems, HVAC, in-home technology, plumbing, electrical, building codes, and more.
- Experience with software systems (Axxerion, Yardi, Safesforce, etc.) a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
Location Requirements: Living in Charleston (or surrounding area) is an absolute requirement for this role. If currently not in Charleston, candidates must be willing to move to the area and have their own housing.
Compensation - $50,000- $75,000 base salary
We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.
Bonus – This position is eligible for the company’s bonus plan, to the extent offered, at a target bonus percentage of up to 10% of your annual salary.

- Individuals based in California are eligible for a paid time off policy in which PTO is accrued each pay period.
