Sit Down Forklift Driver
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent client in Salisbury, NC looking for experienced forklift operators. A good Forklift Operator needs to have excellent hand-eye coordination to operate a forklift close to shelves and other workers in a warehouse, factory and storage site. They also need to communicate with other employees to ensure workers are safe throughout their shift.
Sit Down Forklift Driver Job details
- Pay Rate: Rate starts at $15.00 per hour
- First shift 8am-4:30
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Sit Down Forklift Driver Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be able to follow instructions and communicate well.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Proven experience as forklift operator
