Are you looking for a job that really makes a difference in peoples lives? Come to work for Meals on Wheels and bring a smile to a Senior in need of a hot meal and a visit. PPE is provided and social distancing protocols are followed.

Responsibilities at the site include packing meals for the homebound, cleaning-up kitchen, assisting the manager and supervising volunteers. Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures a plus. Site assistants are the manager's right-hand person and support the manager with everyday issues as well as able to fill in during short-term absence. This position also requires the site assistant to fill in for meal drivers and when needed.

Approx. 20 hours per week from 8 AM to 12 PM Monday-Friday

Skills and Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or over with a valid driver's license. Must have a good driving record. Comfortable using a computer. Other things we are looking for in an ideal candidate, but we are willing to train the right person. Knowledge of safe food service standards and good with driving directions.

$14.42 per hour Average Work Hours: up to 20 hours per week Benefits include: hourly wage, mileage reimbursement (where applicable), 11 paid holidays off per year. Paid time off for vacation/sick day (accrued). Annual longevity bonuses. Optional employee paid insurance benefits include: Vision, Dental, Accident and Life Insurance.
