Social Media Content Manager (remote)

The Social Media Content Manager for Madison Reed will create our current organic social media strategy to better support our consumer base, engage new ones and build community. The Social Media Content manager will be responsible for but not limited to photography, videography, copy, content writing (short and long form) in addition to content creation. You will execute strategies, while utilizing data analytics/metrics to assess & further optimize performance. This role is vital in building the Madison Reed brand authority.

This is a fully remote position that may require travel to headquarters no more than 3-4 times a year and for periodic team events.

What you will do:

  • Creation of content that embodies brand voice, style, tone, and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to create organic social media strategies while building content related to business and feature launches.
  • Grow our audience across all channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms) to increase our brand recognition and authority.
  • Own and execute analytics/metrics, report on the success of campaigns and optimize as needed to enhance social media performance.
  • Manage and curate social media content calendar from scheduling to proofreading of content. Ownership & execution of visual media strategies (Video & Photo).
  • Exercise good judgment and be a content "gladiator" to ensure our brand is always represented with the highest of quality content.

What you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Content Creator or Manager, B2C social media content creation experience.
  • Working knowledge of all social platforms and content best practices. Such as posting, hashtag and linking strategies.
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) experience required.
  • Photography & Videography experience required.
  • Social Media copywriting experience for a consumer goods/e-commerce brand.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented mind-set and ability to manage multiple projects with evolving/shifting priorities.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative; strong planning and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
