JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

TriNet is looking for an Anaplan Solution Architect to lead the implementation and ongoing support of Anaplan at TriNet. This individual will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of Anaplan planning solutions and objectives for business units across TriNet. This will involve all aspects of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, process re-engineering, solution design, implementation, and delivery.

The Anaplan Solution Architect will be accountable for Anaplan solution design across all of TriNet’s various use cases in Anaplan. They will also be expected to understand and recommend the best use of data across various models in Anaplan and design the routing of data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply functional understanding of Sales Planning, Revenue Forecasting, Financial Planning and Portfolio Planning to support building and modifying Anaplan models for TriNet.

• Partner with multiple enterprise teams to identify business needs and propose scalable solutions using the Anaplan platform.

• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality

• Translate existing solutions, complex spreadsheets and business problems into elegant, intuitive Anaplan multi-dimensional models

• Serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions

• Provide candid, meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the Business Partners and teams

• Develop model documentation

• Participate in data integration and migration solutions

• Lead UAT testing and deployment

• Have complete ownership of Anaplan platform and the ability to train/coach/mentor Business teams as well as additional team members on building/using the platform.

• Deliver end-user trainings and knowledge transfer sessions to internal partners

• Act as a mentor to our growing team of new model builders as well as users in the business.

• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering or related field and equivalent experience

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner certifications required.

Experience:

• 8+ years’ experience as a data analyst (FP&A, or as financial data analyst preferred).

• 3+ years’ experience successfully implementing Anaplan solutions.

• Experience working with other financial planning systems (oracle, hyperion, etc…) preferred.

• Advanced google sheets, excel or other financial modeling skills.

• The ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise with building integrations with multiple source systems to pull data and perform complex calculations and modelling in Anaplan.

• Experience creating systems with feedback loops to be able to communicate with systems outside of Anaplan by providing extracts and feeds.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to connect with employees at all levels of the organization

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

• Ability to adapt to a fast paced constantly evolving business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Minimal travel required
