Responsibilities/Duties

• Manage up to 5-8 projects with varying amounts of subcontractors & vendors on each assigned project
• Read plans & specs and interpret construction documents with the ability to identify, execute, and trouble shoot issues
• Schedule subcontractors, plan, coordinate, and manage job site logistics
• Attend jobsite meetings with subs and Construction Manager (CM), Owners and Design Teams.
• Estimate time requirements and plan construction sequencing and tasks ahead of time
• Step in to perform pick-up work between trades as needed
• Assure correct construction means and methods
• Quality assurance and quality control in all aspects.
• Keep efficient production and schedule flow
• Develop, document, and communicate all work progress
• Give regular updates of schedule and possible critical path issues directly to Project Manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Software Used: PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook
• Strong literacy of all Construction Documents, Plans
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and communication skills
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Public Works requirements preferred
• Highly resourceful problem solver, with a polite, can-do, service business attitude

Experience

• 7-10 years cumulative experience in various/general construction trades
• 7-10 years minimum onsite experience as general construction superintendent

Computer Skills

• iPad, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Dropbox, Outlook, Excel

Requirements

Preferred Journeyman Union Carpenter Status

Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

California Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $105,000.00 per year
