INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:

An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position shall have the responsibility of supporting the Director of Tiered Intervention and Supports in administering and supervising the implementation of the division’s Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). MTSS is a framework that helps schools identify and provide targeted support to students who are struggling academically and/or behaviorally. Collaboration across departments, areas, and levels will be necessary to build capacity and support school level implementation. The Supervisor should have knowledge of best practices in behavior, core instruction, evidence-based interventions in math and reading, and the relationship of a tiered framework and eligibility for special education services. This position will be responsible for leading professional learning that is coordinated and aligned to areas of priority within the strategic plan, and resource allocation.
