Truck Shop Mechanic ~ Career Opportunity Located in Holyoke, CO

The Truck Shop Lead Mechanic completes company vehicle repairs, inspections, general maintenance to automobiles, trucks and trailers. Supervises the supply delivery driver along with the mechanics in the shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Examines vehicles and discusses with Department Manager the nature, extent and cost of repair or maintenance.
• Receives schedules, reads job orders, and performs necessary repairs or maintenance of vehicles.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on company vehicles (PMA and PMB services).
• Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and equipment and makes recommendations for their repair.
• Orders parts and counts all parts delivered to truck shop and confirms against purchase order.
• Schedule services for light & heavy-duty company owned vehicles.
• Maintains service record on company vehicles.
• Supervise mechanics and supply delivery employee’s job.
• Keeps work area clean and tools in proper locations, while ensuring all is disinfected.
