The Village Veterinary Clinic of Hamburg is seeking a NY State licensed veterinary technician to join our weekend team. Our progressive, team-orientated approach encourages constructive dialogue between our assistants, technicians, and doctors which allows for collaborative medicine, leading to more positive outcomes for our patients. We are looking for part-time technicans to work our Saturday and Sunday shifts.

• Saturday we are looking for a 12pm-9pm shift
• Sunday we are looking for a 8am-6pm shift

Job Description:

• Licensed in New York State as a veterinary technician
• Provides compassionate care to patients
• Keeps accurate medical records
• Able to appropriately restrain both dogs and cats. Regularly utilizes fear-free methods
• Client education
• Proficient in venipuncture
• Anesthetic monitoring for patients during dental and surgical procedures
• Part of a team when handling emergencies
• Proficient at labwork
• Proficient at radiology
• Able to care for critically ill and hospitalized patients

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour + additional bonuses
