Job description
Warehouse Supervisor - M. Lipsitz & Co., Ltd., Waco, Texas.
Duties:
- Day to day operations of metal recycling warehouses; processing materials, ability to identify metals accurately.
- Supervising approximately 20 employees, hires/terminations, resolve issues, tracking attendance, training.
- Safety of all employees, scheduling, moving material, preventive maintenance/maintaining equipment, working with customers, maintaining visitor/customer controls to maintain their safety.
- Warehouse housekeeping.
- Participation in audits.
- Investigations, inspections.
- Attends/participates in Manager/Supervisor meetings, keeps management informed of issues, needs, information and other duties.
Qualifications:
- Must have mechanical background, previous metal recycling warehouse experience preferred.
Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Salary commensurate with experience.
