The budtender will become a customer service and product expert. Work with lead cannabis consultants, managers and coworkers to ensure compliance at all times. Suggest new, fun and innovative products to be included in inventory offerings. Ensure all customers and visitors are well taken care of. Attention to detail is a must in this highly regulated industry. Act with vigilance at all times while enjoying a fun atmosphere and great tunes.

Cleaning and daily side work applies to all positions below and will be performed during opening, mid, and closing shifts.

Responsibilities including but are not limited to:

  • Exceptional phone and in-person customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate positively, clearly and in a simple yet concise manner to customers and colleagues
  • Ability to manage stress and always staying focused on solutions during any situation
  • Ability to work with little supervision, alone or as part of a team
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and multi-tasking skills
  • Possess a vast knowledge of cannabis products and the ways to use them. The goal of the Budtender is to help educate and serve patients so that each one understands what strains and products best meet their needs
  • Enter customer and order information into POS, process payment, finalize customer orders
  • Shelf/display stocking and changing product display
  • Knowledge on customer daily/monthly purchase limits
  • Knowledge of product THC limits
  • Stock and maintain non-THC items and supplies
  • Proper cash handling for sales during shift
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as State and local regulations
  • Keep all areas of the sales floor clean and clutter free and ensure showcase cabinets are free of smudges throughout the day
  • Regular and punctual attendance, must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Other duties as assigned by GM

Receptionist:

As the first point of contact for customers and visitors you are responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience. Your primary responsibility is to assist customers with finding the right product to meet their needs while providing exceptional service. You will verify and enter patient/customer-specific data and assist the patient/customer in having a premium cannabis purchasing experience.

Responsibilities including but are not limited to:

  • Meet & greet customers when they walk through the doors with positive energy
  • Check customer credentials, verify age and ensure sign in process
  • Checking customer into the POS system correctly and verifying account details for any discrepancies
  • Answering phone calls and coordinating messages
  • Handling customers during longer than usual wait times and disruptive behavior until a manager is notified/involved
  • Direct the flow of customers from waiting area into sales floor
  • Assist with online menu audits
  • Always maintain a positive attitude
  • Develop and maintain lasting and impactful professional relationships by making meaningful connections with customers.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store throughout shift
  • Promote company brand, mission & core values
  • Assist customers understand and select specific products tailored to meet their needs.
  • Listen carefully to customer needs, ask questions to know what products, alternatives, and/or suggestions are appropriate.
  • Assist bud tenders/cannabis consultants & team leads as directed by GM
  • Other duties as assigned by the GM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
