General Construction Worker - Crew Lead/Supervisor

Job Summary:
As a Construction Worker, you play an important role in our company by supporting the Crew in different tasks that ensure each project runs smoothly. As work is delegated to you by our Crew Leader, you must follow instructions precisely. These instructions include: demolition, cleaning, cutting material, transporting equipment, digging, measuring, painting, and more.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs demolition tasks that can include: dismantling structures, tearing down walls, breaking concrete, etc.
- Assists in remodeling projects including finish carpentry, tile installation, drywall and painting, cutting materials and assembling and much more.
- Loads and unloads of materials, tools and equipment.
- Removes debris, garbage and old furniture from work sites.
- Prepares job site with attention to protecting the client’s project and covering any areas exposed to dust and materials.
- Ensure materials are used carefully, products and tools are not wasted or abused.
- Follows Crew Leader instructions at all times.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Required knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in constructions projects.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Demonstrates working at an efficient pace, uses speed-oriented constructions techniques while ensures quality techniques.
- Communicates clearly and understands common terms and language related to working on a construction environment.
- Personable Customer oriented team player, committed to customer satisfaction.
- Works using time wisely to stay on task and participates in recording working hours.
- Accepts accountability for personal actions.
- Flexible, ability to change tasks and to work longer than scheduled as needed.
- Always follows safety rules.
Physical Demands:
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Uses muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
- Bends, stretches, twists or reaches out.
- Holds the arm and hand in one position or holds the hand steady while moving the arm.
- Uses fingers/hands to grasp, move or assemble very small objects.
- Adjusts body movements or equipment controls to keep pace with speed changes of moving objects.
- Understands the speech of another person.
- React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.
Schedule: Morning shift & Monday to Friday, (occasional Saturday)
*Some projects may require night shift (rarely)
Locations:
Seattle, Kent, Auburn, plus Surrounding cities.
