Corporate Communications Manager - Project Manager
The Corporate Communications Manager - Project Manager will support the development and implementation of internal communications plans to advance Elevance Health's corporate branding and connect these efforts to the company's purpose, mission, strategy, culture and values. The Communications Project Manager will focus on managing and driving project plans and timelines aligned to the strategic internal communications plan supporting the company's brand transformation efforts, helping to create excitement for the future and a sense of unity across all associates.
Work location: Any Elevance Health state; may consider other locations for most qualified applicant.
Reports to: Sr. Director of Enterprise Communications - Government Business
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Partners with the Director of Brand Communications, Corporate Communications, and business leaders to develop and implement a strategic project plan in support of the company's branding efforts, business acquisitions, and ongoing transformation.
- Facilitates integrated communication and change management plans to support the branding effort; shadows branding efforts in other parts of the enterprise and ensures associate feedback is incorporated into the go-forward strategy.
- Manages timelines to ensure all deliverables are on-time with a keen focus on mitigation strategies and key dependencies for success.
- Helps build relationships with local market leadership. Drives the research of communication needs while considering nuances. Establish goals and objectives.
- Partners effectively across the organization and with key stakeholders to integrate and align communications to broader enterprise content.
- Researches, develops, reviews and/or edits communications materials for senior management.
- Identify awareness gaps and proactively develop communications solutions to increase understanding.
- Develop dashboards and measurement reports for regular updates on effectiveness for key internal stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in public relations, journalism, English, communications, business or related area; 7 years of related experience in a large organization or agency; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic counsel to business partners, envision and communicate creative solutions to business challenges, and successfully develop and implement communication strategies and tactics.

Preferred skills, Capabilities and Experiences
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills, along with excellent organization, writing and editing skills.
- Experience in communications planning and partnering cross-functionally.
- Experience in communications and project management, with a focus on process improvement, data analysis, tool assessment and implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- MS Office knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of managed care and the health insurance industry preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 79,280 to $142,704
