Job Summary:
A member of the Projects Team is responsible for supporting daily cultivation operations. This full time position reports directly to their team lead and the Grow and Cultivation Managers. In this position you can expect to be supporting the production of the facility by ensuring that bio-products are going through their intended end-of-life phases. Takedown and Harvest work closely together to complete operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes accurately.
● Manage their workload efficiently to meet goals and consistently produce quality products.
● Maintain up-to-date work shift responsibilities on logs and inform direct supervisor of any changes.
● Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
● Perform other duties as assigned by management.
● Twice weekly perform position specific tasks as assigned by leadership/management
● TD: Efficiently remove good and safe product from plants for future use
● H: Efficiently remove foliage from plants to allow for proper drying and curing
Minimum Qualifications:
● Must be able to follow SOP.
● Must be able to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
● Must be comfortable with heights, soil and water, and tight spaces.
● Must be able to climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 25 pounds.
● Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
● Must be 18 years of age or older.
● Must be able to successfully register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
● Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
● High school diploma/GED preferred.
● Basic knowledge of plant anatomy is a plus.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls.
The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
