Apparel company in need of a Retail Desktop Support Analyst to administer and support retail operations at our physical store locations – including POS application management and support. Additional responsibilities will include fielding user requests for support and other end user related applications in home and remote offices. Applicants should be ready to quickly troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems. The candidate will be part of a support team and will report to the Infrastructure Manager. This Desktop Support Analyst should also possess great verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to learn and document new processes. Travel and hands on support to our physical locations will be required.

Desktop Support Analyst duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assure POS terminals and peripherals including Ingenico Pinpads, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, etc. continued operations
  • Provide daily POS system support for users
  • Work with and provide 3rd party assistance to our internal or store related systems
  • Assure POS applications continued operations
  • Support end user hardware including laptops, desktops, iPads, docking stations, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Administer, assign, and/or resolve end user trouble tickets
  • Support new project implementation activities from time to time
  • Identify areas of operational improvement
  • Other tasks relating to the responsibilities of a Retail Desktop Support Analyst

Application Support include but are not limited to:

  • Celerant Command Retail; Celerant Stratus; Microsoft Office365 Product Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.); LogMeIn; Zoom; Shift4; KACE SMA; and related

Job Skill:

At least two years of experience as a Retail Desktop Support Analyst or related role

Associate’s degree or higher in computer science or related field

Excellent problem-solving skills

The capability to work well in high-pressure situations

The willingness to learn the technical skills needed to administer POS applications and other related in-house applications

Windows 10, Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office apps proficiency is a plus
