About us

ICC Center is a leading Tutoring Learning Center for Intensive English as a Second Language Programs in in the City of Huntington Park. We teach and tutor non-native speakers in the day-to-day English conversation. Our primarily goal is to teach our students with the language skills they need to operate and interact with the world around them. Students attend English Language classes Monday thru Saturday and can choose from morning and evening schedules. At ICC Center we strongly encourage our students to leave the four walls of our classrooms and go out to experience daily activities using the English skills thought in the intensive conversation tutoring programs.
We are looking for an ESL (English as a Second Language) Tutors to join our team. ESL Tutors give English language lessons to non-native speakers in small groups. They follow course materials that covers all aspects of the English language, specifically concentrating on day-to-day conversation. Tutors keep track of student progress and customize individualized plans for students with special requirements. They’re also responsible for creating a positive class environment and encouraging students to reach their learning goals. To be successful in this role, it’s important to have a patient and resilient personality and great communication skills. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
