Pomeroy is working with a worldwide client who is growing and is looking to add a Full Stack Front-End Developer-REMOTE to their team.* As a full stack developer*, you will work to deliver front-end solutions that execute clients priorities and initiatives. Primary responsibilities include the design, development and integration of software components using CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and HTML. If you are versatile and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this is a great opportunity. This is a remote position.

DAY to DAY Responsibilities:

• CSS expertise
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface
• Optimizing components across web-capable devices and browsers
• Experience with CSS Frameworks such as Tailwind, Bulma, Foundation
• Knowledge of Flexgrid, CSS Grid, Box Model
• Familiarity with methodologies such as BEM
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Use of Material UI and alternatives
• Knowledge of React.js with JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Prototyping with tools such as Figma or InVision
• Work with onshore and offshore resources on an agile team
• Participate in agile activities including estimation, standups, grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Comfortable updating Azure DevOps user stories and tasks to reflect the status of sprint work
• Submit pull requests, handle code merges, and facilitate software releases
• Troubleshoot and own defects identified by the QA team and customers.
• Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, close collaboration, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a CSS and React.js developer
• 6+ years HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 3+ year of React
• 2+ years Git, Github
• 2+ years Agile software development
• Knowledge of good software practices (testing, version control, and concepts such as DRY)
• Working knowledge of web fundamentals (HTTP, response codes, REST, calling APIs)
• Strong English communication skills

Pay: $60.00 - $67.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
