The Kiddie Academy of Reston is looking to hire an experienced teacher for Infant/toddler class.

JOB SUMMARY
The teacher will be responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure that appearance, cleanliness, and the safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
Complete all academy and classroom paperwork: for example, daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports.
Attend and participate in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings, as requested.
Assist and supervise children during all activities. Counsel children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise.
Implement classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids/materials for classroom activities.
Assist children with meal times and clean-up.
Physically arrange the classroom into well-defined interest areas.
Direct activities of other staff in the classroom to ensure that the classroom functions in an orderly manner.
Communicate appropriate information to parents; maintain developmental profiles for children.
Schedule and conduct parent and teacher conferences throughout the year.
Maintain family information board and other classroom bulletin boards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
