Summary:
Under the direction of the Inventory Supervisor, the Cycle Counter works closely with inventory and warehouse staff to count inventory of raw materials and finished goods. Numbers obtained are used to verify inventory accuracy and make adjustments as necessary.
Job Duties:
The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Complete daily cycle counts – physically counting the product. Priority for counts are determined by work order status followed by counts needed by Inventory Supervisor
• Reconcile inventory reports
• Maintain work area in clean and orderly status
• Use E21 for inventory purposes
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report to the Inventory Supervisor / Accounting / Customer Service
• Use forklift / reach truck or other powered industrial equipment to move product around in work area
• Enforce all inventory procedures throughout the plant.
• Assist with year end physical inventory
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• At least 6 months of related experience to become familiar with processes and procedures
• Ability to work in a cooler environment (temperatures are typically around 38-40° F)
• Experience with a Windows-based computer system
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents
• Ability to write standard documentation
• This position requires forklift certification
