Description:Summary/Objective
As a Kitchen Crew team member, you will work under the guidance of the Kitchen Supervisor and Back of House Manager to ensure the kitchen is clean and operational. In some kitchens, you may also be involved in preparing ingredients and assisting the cooks on an as needed basis.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensuring the food preparations areas are clean and hygienic
- Washing utensils, dishes, pots, and pans and making sure they are stored appropriately
- Keep dish pit and storage areas cleaned and organized
- Assist with sorting, storing and distributing ingredients as needed
- Assist with washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting food as directed by the kitchen supervisor or back of house manager
- Dispose of garbage
- Clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
- May perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment
This position is generally in an indoor setting but extreme temperatures may be reached as kitchens can see an increase in temperature especially around ovens, stoves and dish pits. Must be able to work in hot, damp environment with hands frequently immersed in water.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Saturday. Shifts vary based on business needs and the needs of the customer. This position regularly requires long hours, holiday and weekend work.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
